Join us for an extended weekend retreat with mamas who “get it.”
The Apricity Hope Project is a nonprofit that cares for caregivers of medically complex, disabled children who have life limiting conditions. We know that what you do as a caregiver is tough, isolating and exhausting. The AHP Take 5 Team coordinates opportunities for caregivers to ‘take five minutes’ or more for themselves!
When? August 10-13
Where? The Apricity Hideaway
Who? As of Spring 2023 we are only offering retreats for mothers who are caregivers of medically complex, disabled children with life limiting conditions.
Why? Do we even have to ask why? Because you need a break! Our goal is to provide caregivers hope, restoration and connection to others who are facing similar emotional and physical loads of caregiving.
What? The AHP retreats include speakers, workshops, relaxations and fun. Our 4 day retreat schedule is full but in this safe space we encourage you to do whatever gives you the most rest and hope.
How many people attend AHP retreats? We keep our numbers small. 7 moms + volunteers.
How much do retreats cost? To help keep YOUR costs as low as possible, The Apricity Hope Project covers a majority of the expenses for our retreats. Costs vary for each retreat but are usually $200-300. This will include all of your food, activities, and housing for the weekend. Travel expenses to/from the retreat are not included.
