Hospital Go-Bags at UVA
Go-Bag Alert: With the help of Retreat Alumni Mingo, AHP has officially landed at UVA!

This month, one of our amazing “Mingo Mamas”, Isha, hand-delivered FIVE fully loaded caregiver hospital go-bags to the Complex Care Team at UVA Children’s Hospital—our very first connection with this incredible hospital.
She met up with her “#1 favorite medical professional,” Michael, who trains families on home ventilation. And true to the AHP way, she didn’t just deliver the bags—she delivered a whole photo shoot of “Mama Bear and the flock” showing off their AHP go-bags that will provide support to parents who are frequent flyers in the hospital setting, caring for their complex children.
We’re so proud that these bags—filled with practical items and emotional support—are now ready to support more caregiving families and our connections with more hospitals!

Big thanks to the Complex Care Team at UVA for welcoming us with open arms—and to Mingo Mom Isha for being the bridge that made this happen. We hope to continue to support more families together!
