Apricity Hope Project – Where Caregivers Find Light and Support

Hey Caregivers (and the people who love them)! Welcome home. Here at The Apricity Hope Project, we’re more than just an organization—we’re a community, a support system, and a lifeline for caregivers navigating the complex and often isolating world of raising medically fragile children.

Why We Exist

As a medical mom myself, I know firsthand how overwhelming it is to juggle hospital stays, doctor’s appointments, the constant worry for your child’s health, and all the “normal” day to day life tasks. Through my personal journey of raising two children with a rare form of mitochondrial disease and significant, global disabilities, I realized that while there’s support for our children, the resources for us—the caregivers—are slim to none. That’s why The Apricity Hope Project was born: to fill that gap and offer holistic support for parents like us who are exhausted, isolated and struggling to do everything for our children, forgetting to do anything for ourselves.

Our Mission

We aim to provide mental, emotional, and physical health support to the parents and primary caregivers of children with severe medical needs. Our vision is simple but powerful: a world where caregivers feel empowered, supported, and restored. We believe that in order to truly care for medically complex and/or disabled children, we must care for their caregivers too.

Our Services

Whether you’re spending long nights in the PICU or juggling the emotional highs and lows of caregiving at home, we’re here to help with programs tailored specifically for you:

  • Care(Giver) Packages + Go-Bags: The packages are designed as boxes of hope and love – to brighten your day. Our Hospital Go-Bags are curated for parents spending stressful days in the hospital, these bags offer comfort and essentials, so you’re prepared for whatever comes.
  • Restorative Retreats: AHP offers one-day and multi-day retreats that are designed to give caregiving moms a much-needed break. You’ll reconnect with your own identity, find peace, and share experiences with other moms who “get it.”
  • Podcast – “When Autumn Comes”: This podcast is a safe space for medical moms to share their stories, offering comfort, inspiration, and a reminder that you are not alone.

We’re just getting started, but the impact we’ve seen so far has been tremendous. Caregivers are walking away from our programs feeling uplifted, restored, and like they can face the world again.

So, what’s next? Join us on this journey. Whether you’re a caregiver, a supporter, or simply someone who wants to make a difference, there’s a place for you at AHP. Together, we can create a brighter future where caregivers are seen, supported, and never forgotten.

Welcome to the apricity community—we’re so glad you’re here.
