Exciting News: The Apricity Hope Project Chosen as Charity of the Year by KCI Technologies, Inc.!
We have some incredible news to share! The Apricity Hope Project has been selected as the Charity of the Year by KCI Technologies, Inc., a national engineering firm that is dedicated to giving back to communities across the country. KCI is a 100-percent employee-owned engineering, planning and construction firm serving clients throughout the United States in our 60 offices nationwide! This partnership is a huge honor and an incredible opportunity for us to expand our reach and support more caregiving families.
What This Means for Apricity
As KCI’s Charity of the Year, The Apricity Hope Project will benefit from their fundraising efforts, volunteer support, and national exposure. This partnership allows us to grow our programs, reach more caregivers, and provide much-needed mental, emotional, and physical health support to families caring for medically fragile children.
A Shared Commitment to Community
KCI Technologies’ commitment to community service aligns perfectly with our mission to uplift and restore caregivers. By partnering with us, they are investing in the well-being of caregivers across the country—ensuring that they have the resources, support, and encouragement they need.
KCI is a multi-disciplined design and construction business sectors that allows them to
provide exceptional expertise to federal, state and local government agencies, as well as
institutional and private-sector clients. With more than 2,200 employee-owners, KCI is thrilled to
announce that its employees have chosen the Apricity Hope Project as the Corporate Charity
for the period from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2025. The Apricity Hope Project was
selected from a pool of employee-nominated 501(c)(3) charities, all recognized as national non-
profits. During this year, all employee charitable donations will be evenly split, with 50% going to
the Apricity Hope Project and 50% to the United Way Program.
What’s Next?
We’re excited to kick off this partnership with some amazing collaborative events and fundraising initiatives in the coming months.
KCI is encouraging fundraising events within KCI, with proceeds directed to the Apricity Hope Project. These activities may include Halloween costume contests, sports playoff pools, and various competitions with fun and games, aimed at generating charitable contributions.
