camp: HOPE FULL 2024
WOW! What an incredible weekend we had supporting the Apricity Hope Project! We are still buzzing with excitement from everything we accomplished together and all of the fun that was had! This was our third annual camp: HOPE FULL and what we are realizing is that it’s almost like a family reunion of sorts every year! This event brings so many families together. Children are excited to see their friends that they see here annually. The Holiday TRAV-L Campground staff is excited as they greet our neon green wearing families back to their property.

After family camp-craft projects, we kicked the weekend off with incredible guitar tunes by Lee Baskin on Friday night – next to our imaginary bon fire (thanks to the insane wind!).
Then Saturday was a FULL day of HOPE… from donuts and a flag ceremony by Girl Scout Troop 94, to family activities and a silent auction, to our epic 80s outfits and dancing like nobody’s watching (and if they were, who cares?) with the Deloreans – y’all showed up in your neon green while showing some serious love for our cause!

We had a blast camping out, embracing the 80s theme, crafting, playing and enjoying each other’s company, all while making a huge difference in the lives of families who need an extra boost of hope. Seeing all of the Super Heroes zooming around camp and in our HOPE FULL Parade brought smiles to everyone’s faces!

With everyone’s help, this was our most success-FULL camp: HOPE FULL event yet! We hit goals of awareness, funds and inclusion! Watching families of all abilities play together is a beautiful thing!

And let’s not forget the new addition to camp ’24… the HOPE FULL CONCERT! Thank you to the Cooper-Young Family and the Beachcombers Corvette Club for volunteering to make 300 campers dinner! That was no small feat! Thank you to the Deloreans who helped us hype of the evening and the fundraising with great tunes. Everyone had such a great time on the dance floor!
