We have the unique opportunity to give your company access to a fun, hope-filled weekend in Virginia Beach. This will be our Third Annual “camp: HOPE FULL” event. You are invited to be part of this weekend as a premier sponsor and guest! Camp: HOPE FULL ’24 will be on April 12-14, 2024. This will be an event that can increase your visibility, as well as directly impact families of medically complex and disabled children.

I am writing to you today on behalf of the Apricity Hope Project, a nonprofit organization based in Virginia, to offer your company a business and cause marketing opportunity. Our camping weekend will take place at Holiday TRAV-L Campground in Virginia Beach, VA on April 12-14, 2024. This event will include family friendly activities, a concert by the Deloreans, food and fun for families of all abilities.

As a medical mama myself, I am so incredibly grateful for all of the organizations that exist to help my children. After years spent in and out of children’s hospitals, learning as much as I can about being a rare disease family, advocating and fundraising for mitochondrial disease research, losing my daughter at 5.5 years old and still caring for my son… I am aware that there just is not enough support available for caregivers of disabled kiddos. So I created The Apricity Hope Project.

The Apricity Hope Project is a 501(c)3 nonprofit based in Virginia, with a goal of caring for caregivers in several different ways:

• Care(giver) Packages and Hospital Go-Bags for those who need a little extra box of hope during dark seasons
• The When Autumn Comes Podcast with over 41k unique downloads (as of January 2024) for medical mamas, and the people who love them
• Restorative, respite retreats at the Apricity Hideaway where caregivers rediscover who they are outside of caregiving, connect with caregivers just like themselves, and be fed, supported and cared for by volunteers.
• Events, like camp: HOPE FULL that bring all members of our community together
• Apricity Hope Project continues to support mitochondrial disease research at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
